Happiness Starts From Within

Listen, you don’t need to look for happiness or fulfillment in another person or material things - you have everything you need! Here’s my recipe for creating your own magic:

  • Love and accept yourself, be kind to yourself, and treat yourself like you would your best friend.

  • I say it often, but it’s a key to inner peace and joy: make time to reflect on the things you are grateful for!

  • Find the things that bring you joy and light you up, do them more - if you’re not sure what, try new things! Chase your passion and excitement.

  • Move your body & get outside! Exercise and being outside is so critical to our well-being. Sweat & sunshine are the two best vitamins / doctors!

  • Set some goals. We all need to be challenged and give ourselves deadlines. If you don’t have something on your radar, it’s time to make a new goal! Most importantly though: enjoy the process and the journey of achieving it.

  • Surround yourself with people that uplift you, celebrate you, and make you want to be better. Having a good community is crucial. (This is different than searching for fulfillment in another person, that’s a co-dependent relationship, and not healthy.)
