How to Use AI in Your Business: 3 Lessons from the Mindvalley AI Summit
AI Isn’t Coming—It’s Here: 3 Game-Changing Lessons from the Mindvalley AI Summit
I recently attended the 3-day Mindvalley AI Summit (virtually), and my brain is still buzzing—in the best way!
I went in curious. I came out rethinking how I work, create, and even coach. This wasn’t just another “rah rah tech is the future” event. It was hands-on and wildly practical.
This truly opened my eyes to how game-changing AI can be—for me, for entrepreneurs, or even for someone who wants to start a business but doesn’t know where to start. (see prompt below for more on that)
And here’s the thing: AI isn’t just for tech bros or startup founders. It’s for creatives, wellness pros, entrepreneurs, professionals, educators—anyone who wants to work smarter, serve better, and stop wasting time on the stuff that drains them.
As an Entrepreneur, I realized I have only been using AI for about 1% of its capability. And if I can learn and leverage more, even 10% more, it can make a massive impact in my life and in my business!
Exponential Growth: AI’s power doubles roughly every 3.3 months—16× stronger in one year, and a million-fold more powerful in five—reshaping possibilities for work, health, and world problems.
Here are the 3 biggest shifts I walked away with:
1. Don’t Just Track ROI—Start Optimizing ROT (Return on Time)
One of the most powerful reframes I heard all weekend was this:
ROI is important—but ROT might be your missing metric.
Because time? That’s your most valuable currency.
AI isn’t here to replace your brain. It’s here to replace the boring. The repetitive. The calendar-clogging to-dos that eat your energy and delay your impact.
So here’s the move: every time you sit down to work, literally ask your AI:
👉 “How can you help me with this?”
From writing captions and emails to organizing project plans, AI can clear the path so you can focus on what only YOU can do—create, connect, coach, lead.

2. Create a Custom GPT Toolkit for Your Business
Instead of trying to find one “perfect” tool, treat your AI setup like a dream team. Each GPT or assistant serves a unique role, and together? They’re unstoppable.
I learned how to:
Create custom GPTs for LinkedIn posts, emails, even tweet / X threads
Build AI-powered wellness assistants to help analyze health data, suggest workouts, and plan meals
Set up a chatbot for my website (yes, one that’s empathetic and helpful!) in under 15 minutes
You can create a project in ChatGPT dedicated to your business, your health, your writing—whatever you need. Give each AI its lane, and let them work together.
This blew my mind.
3. Great AI Starts with Great Input - Organize and Connect Your Data
Here’s a stat that stuck:
85% of any AI project is having the right data.
The tools are only as good as what you feed them. Customizing your GPTs is powerful—but organizing your information is what unlocks exponential results.
What that means:
Keep your ideas, notes, and templates accessible
Store your past content, voice memos, or offers in one spot
Train your AI tools to understand how you think, speak, and create
It’s like onboarding a new team member: the clearer the training, the better the outcome.
Highlights: Mr. Grateful + Vishen Lakhiani
One of the standout speakers for me was Dominic Ashburn, aka Mr. Grateful. His sessions were packed with real-world tools and a grounded, high-vibe energy that made everything land. He showed us how to customize the way AI responds to you AND how to setup and connect your apps and data.
He also shared one of my favorite AI prompts from the summit—a perfect example of how creative and specific your GPT guidance can be:
AI Prompt:
"I want to make a new product. I don’t know what to make though. Something accessible to make or rebrand in under 30 days. Within the [wellness] and [mindfulness] space that can have a [futurist minimal spin] on it through [design and branding]. Can you look through problems people may be dealing with in reddit forums to see if there is any problem we can solve through a new product?"
(Everything in brackets can and should be customized based on your niche!)
I also loved hearing from Vishen Lakhiani, founder of Mindvalley, especially his deep dive on custom GPTs. Both he and Dominic made what feels “too techy” actually feel doable.
Best AI Training Program for Entrepreneurs, Coaches, and Creatives: Amplify with AI
The Mindvalley AI Summit was a great start, but I wanted more. So I signed up for their “Amplify with AI” program to learn more. (I’m already a yearly subscriber so it’s “free” for me to join any program they offer.)
If you’re ready to actually understand and use AI in your daily life—without the tech overwhelm—I can’t recommend Mindvalley’s “Amplify with AI” program enough.
It’s part of their all-access membership and teaches you how to:
Build your own AI assistants (for writing, planning, organizing)
Train GPTs to sound like you
Automate parts of your workflow
And use AI to enhance—not replace—your thinking
👉 Explore all of Mindvalley’s programs here + get $100 off: Join Mindvalley
I’ve taken so many of their trainings, and the annual membership is 100% worth it—they have over 100 programs 🤯, meditations, a powerful community, and more.
If you’ve been waiting for the “right time” to get AI-literate, this is it.
Because the future isn’t coming.
It’s already here.
And you deserve tools that help you lead, serve, and live at your highest level.
